McNair Papers
at Colby College
In 2006, Colby College purchased Wesley McNair's papers, which now encompass one hundred linear-feet in the college library's Special Collections.
The Wesley McNair Papers include: scrapbooks, photographs, family letters, clippings, and ephemera; early writings; graduate school writings, teaching notes and poem drafts; manuscript drafts, first appearances, and audio-visual recordings; extensive correspondence.
The McNair Papers are organized into five sections:
My Life as a Poet A video presentation by McNair at the celebration of the acquisition of his personal papers by Colby College in 2006.

Lovers of the Lost Poems Audio recordings and manuscript samples from Lovers of the Lost (McNair’s 2010 collection of new and selected poems) specifically designed as aides for teaching poetry.
